Mr. Ashish heads the Litigation, Estate Planning and General Corporate Practice of the Firm. He has been instrumental in strategising and successfully handling several litigations before various judicial authorities including before the Securities Appellate Tribunal. He has assisted and represented clients with respect to Special Leave Petitions before the Supreme Court of India on civil and arbitration matters.
He has remarkable experience in handling disputes before the Company Law Board and the High Court(s). Ashish has been appointed as Amicus Curiae by the Securities Appellate Tribunal and has been appointed as Arbitrator in case of various commercial and family disputes. Ashish also advises on estate planning keeping in mind the complex regulatory environment, including setting up of trusts for better of asset protection.
He is also proficient with regards to testamentary matters and advises clients including NRIs, HNIs, etc. Ashish has a diverse practice and headed teams on several high-profile M&A, Private Equity and capital markets deals apart from working on media related documents and has advised and negotiated several concession agreements connected with setting up of Infrastructure projects especially concerning ports.
Mr. Ashish has previously worked with leading Indian and international law firms including Fladgate LLP London, Kanga & Co. and JSA. He has written several articles on law and otherwise and has been a speaker on Indian and international platforms.
